Yours for just £75m! 60-room mansion with a catch… it needs to have £10m spent on it
With a price tag of £75million, it should be almost perfect.
But whoever buys this mansion will need to dig even deeper into their pockets than the headline cost suggests — to pay for at least £10million of renovations.
The 60-room former ambassadorial residence has been empty since it was bought for £17million ten years ago. Despite no improvements being made in that time, its value has rocketed by nearly 350 per cent.
The property, Number One Campden Hill in Kensington, boasts a staff cottage, private one-acre walled garden and seven bedrooms. When renovated, the mansion will be spread over 30,000 square feet — making it one of the largest private homes in London.
