Strong Bidding at Auctions

The number of people both attending and bidding at auctions has seen a noticeable increase over the last couple of weeks. Many Marshall White auctions had more than 3 people competing on Saturday resulting is some very pleasing prices for our vendors. Marshall White sold 21 properties in total including 4 that had sold prior to auction and 5 that achieved prices in excess of $2 million.

Sales Highlights

A very large crowd attended the auction of a brilliantly renovated Edwardian residence at 78 Blessington St, St Kilda that sold after taking 40 bids from 5 prospective purchasers. Five bidders also competed for a fabulous residence at 1 Irene Place, Prahran resulting in a price of $1.515 million. Another competitive auction at 2 Aintree Rd, Glen Iris also saw strong bidding from 5 buyers bringing a very pleasing price for the vendors.
